Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1976 Chevrolet CORVETTE recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1976 Chevrolet CORVETTE problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Additional Description: Ferrari of Lake Forest is Proud to Present this 1976 “Spirit of Le Mans†Continuation Greenwood Corvette #007. The original Spirit of Le Mans was a groundbreaking Widebody Corvette like the world had never seen before. With almost every body panel changed from an original C3 Corvette to maximize downforce the Corvette has a very unique look. Paired to the claimed 700 HP all aluminum Chevrolet V8 under the hood made for a competitive racer. The number 76 Greenwood Corvette was able to qualify with a time of 3:54.6 around Circuit de la Sarthe, with speeds up to 225 mph down the Mulsanne Straight.  This Continuation car was commissioned by Rick Mancuso (the original driver of the car) through Duntov Motors. After assembly the car went to Riley Technologies for full inspection and track set up. The car was commissioned to be raced in the classic Sebring and Daytona races. This isn’t a car that needs to be raced as it is visually striking with its bulging fender arches and deep dish wheels. Please note that if you would like to race the car it couldn’t be more set up to do so. The car recently was tested by Tony Ave at Daytona to shake the car down and get it set up for Rick. Please note that if the continuation is not for you the real one is available for sale, we can put you in contact with the owner, for around $1.5 Million.
