Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1987 Chevrolet S-10 recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.

Major Options / Build:
Additional Description: You absolutely know you've never see a custom like this before. We call it a 1987 Chevrolet S-10 Roadster because of the way this one started out life, but every inch of this hot rod has been thoughtfully crafted to integrate a look of power and presence. So if you want to be the one to always show up in something that no one else has, read on for all the details. The first impression is both powerful and awesome. After all, it has a sleek channeled look and the shortened chassis with meaty rear wheels gives it a commanding presence. It keeps the old-school street machine tradition by integrating pieces from other cars. So look closely for the well-adapted Austin Healey Sprite front bumper and taillight package from a '37 Olds. It even reminds you of the true iconic hot rods by integrating a '29 Ford grille and cowl into this build. But that's where the conventional ideas end. The only parts that seem to remain from the original S-10 are the doors, and they have been thoroughly reworked and smoothed to be part of this overall design. If the chassis is from the original pickup, it's hard to see, because there has been so much time put into smoothing out the visible pieces that it's as attractive as a hot rod shop custom frame. And the deeper you dig, the more awesome it gets. You'll see that the burgundy paint is a thoughtfully done application with a slick style and plenty of details, including the fuel tank. And speaking of the custom tank, have you noticed the custom metal work and leather straps? It's all about a 14-year labor of love that focused on building something different and doing it with quality in mind. There is a taut custom vinyl top that looks nice when it's in place, but really, you're going to want to share this interior with the world. You've got two low-back black bucket seats with attractive weathered-style tan inserts, and this two-tone is repeated on the door panels. With the doors closed, they almost seamlessly form part of the wraparound interior, and there are plenty of people who will marvel at how amazingly adapted a '53 Chevy setup was integrated into the dash. As a true hot rod that means a grippy steering wheel, tall Lokar shifter, and the right auxiliary readouts, including the large tach. The motor was built to be on display. The bright block, shining ribbed valve covers, and a matte black air grabber that matches the firewall and chassis are all part of this very tidy setup. And of course, on a thoughtful build like this, it also gives you plenty of hot rod power. It's a Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8 rebuilt with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer EPS intake, and a wicked set of headers feeding the quad-tip dual exhaust. And the three-speed automatic transmission with 2300 stall keeps you in the ideal powerband. Starting with an S-10 was a great move for a solid build. It means you have good fundamentals like a strong chassis and a nice independent front end. Plus, there are upgrades, like the reinforced rear frame and Chevelle-style rear suspension. Add in disc brakes up front and wide drag radials in the rear, and this custom knows how to hit the streets with confidence. This is craftsmanship and uniqueness like you've never seen before. And because it's one-of-a-kind, you'll likely never see it again. Don't miss your chance, call today!
