Additional Description: GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this stunning 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. This iconic vehicle comes in a brilliant teal paint job with white accents complimented by a clean black interior. Powering this American icon is a 350 cubic inch V8 engine mated to a smooth shifting manual transmission. A full restoration was completed in the late 80s, then a partial restoration was completed roughly 15 years ago and still shows well today. Upgrades added during that restoration include a refreshed powertrain with upgraded Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carburetor, MSD ignition, full custom exhaust, 12 bolt rear, all new gas lines, all new brake lines, electric wiper system and all new electrical wires. Features of the vehicle include factory heat, upgraded audio system and front disc brakes. The Chevy Bel Air has gone down in history as one of the most iconic vehicles to ever come out of the motor city. Sadly, in recent years they have become a bit harder to find. Don't miss your opportunity to scoop this exceptional vehicle up, because you may not get another. Please call or email us today for more information. For 1955, Chevrolet's full-size model received all new styling and power. The 1955 Bel Air was 3,456 lb and 15 ft long. It was called the Hot One in GM's advertising campaign. Chevrolet's styling was crisp, clean and incorporated a Ferrari-inspired grille. In 1957 engine displacement grew to 283 cu in (4.6 L) with the Super Turbo Fire V8 option (shared with the Corvette), producing 283 hp and 290 lbft of torque. The 1957 Bel Air is considered by many to be an icon of its age, right alongside Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, and Leave it to Beaver. The '57 Bel Air is among the most recognizable American cars of all time. To see over 80 photos of this car, including under carriage please visit our website www.grautogallery.com

Recalls are a well-established global practice; from time to time they are announced by almost all manufacturers of not only cars, but also any other industrial products. But since a car is considered a source of increased danger, it is recalls in the automotive industry that attract the most attention and cause the greatest resonance. Check if your car is covered by a recall campaign. Sometimes manufacturers will recall their cars because of substandard parts or workmanship and repair them for free, regardless of the warranty. This is called a recall campaign. More information on 1957 Chevrolet BEL AIR recalls can be found in this database. It may be useful to use online problems resource that shows automotive defect patterns, based on complaint data submitted by vehicle owners. The problems are organized into groups with data published by vehicle, component, and specific issue. See also an updated list of 1957 Chevrolet BEL AIR problems before buying a used car. In most cases, the recall is initiated by the manufacturer. But it also happens that it is forced to do so. The largest and most scandalous recall campaigns were those that were initiated by complaints and lawsuits from consumers through controlling state structures.
