The body on the car is in pristine condition and was extremely well maintained. The car is finished in its gorgeous original Mercedes color of Classic White and is in awesome condition. The car is straight as an arrow and looks spectacular. The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any collector car should be. The car is riding on the original 14" wheels with the correct Michelin tires that are still in good shape! The original windshield is like new with no chips. The navy German Cloth soft top is brand new and in great condition with no rips or ware. The hard top has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape. The interior is in great shape all around. The dash and door panels are in like new condition. The supple original navy blue leather seats are all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware lines, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also are fully functional. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. The sound system definitely adds to the driving experience of this roadster. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. This interior is in immaculate condition and wood trim through out is perfect. The floor mats are a very nice set of Lloyds mats with custom MBZ embroidery! The trunk compartment is clean enough to eat from. The spare tire compartment is clean as a whistle and the original spare tire is present. Original jack is in place and the complete tool kit is even still in the spare tire well. Mechanically, this SL runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The V8 engine is surprisingly quick and responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The car was always regularly serviced by Schumacher Mercedes in Scottsdale and has been well documented up until 27000 miles.This 380's most recent trip to the dealer in Mid 2018 was for a new fuel pump, injectors, fuel system cleaning, full power steering overhaul, R12 AC service with new compressor, engine rear main seal, transmission front seal and service, new rear muffler and much more.
